Using these grant funds, communities will undertake certain activities that lead to the creation of a comprehensive neighborhood revitalization strategy, or Transformation Plan. The Transformation Plan will become the guiding document to carryout subsequent implementation of the plan to achieve the program’s three core goals: Housing, People and Neighborhood – redevelop the target housing while simultaneously directing the transformation of the surrounding neighborhood and positive outcomes for families. $10,000,0000 is being made available under this funding opportunity with maximum awards of $500,000.
