ADDED ON AUGUST 5, 2023: The Administration for Native Americans has issued its funding forecast for its annual Native American Language Preservation and Maintenance –  Esther Martinez program to ensure the vitality of Native languages. ANA expects to make $1,000,000 available to support this initiative with maximum awards of $300,000. The anticipated post date for this opportunity is February 1, 2024. ADDED ON AUGUST 5, 2023: The Administration for Native Americans has issued a funding forecast for its annual Social and Economic Development Strategies (SEDS) to grow local economies, strengthen Native American families, including the preservation of Native American cultures, and decrease the high rate of current challenges caused by the lack of community-based businesses, and social and economic infrastructure in Native American communities.  Native American communities include American Indian tribes (federally-recognized and non-federally recognized), Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives, and Native American Pacific Islanders. $8.5 million will be made available under this opportunity with maximum awards of $400,000. ADDED ON AUGUST 5, 2023: The Administration for Native Americans has issued a funding forecast for community-based projects for the Environmental Regulatory Enhancement (ERE) program. The ERE program provides funding for the costs of planning, developing, and implementing programs designed to improve the capability of tribal governing bodies to regulate environmental quality pursuant to federal and tribal environmental laws.
