ADDED ON APRIL 10, 2024: The Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) is announcing a competitive request for proposals (RFP) to support efforts to provide culturally specific services for people affected by sexual assault. ADDED ON APRIL 5, 2024: The Washington State Department of Commerce has issued a funding opportunity to provide direct services to victims of child abuse and neglect. Applicants should have a demonstrated history providing direct services to children. Applications are due on April 29, 2024. $2.7 million is available under this funding opportunity with maximum awards of $100,000.  To download the application materials, click here.

ADDED ON APRIL 2, 2024: The Washington State Department of Commerce has issued a funding opportunity to support youth recreational facilities. These competitive grants can fund 25% of eligible capital costs, up to $1.2 million, for nonresidential facilities providing recreational opportunities for youth (K-12) as long as they are integrated with social and/or educational services. ADDED ON MARCH 19, 2024: The Washington State Department of Health has released a funding opportunity to identify pressing health concerns and develop projects that address the unique needs of the zone. The initiative uses an impacted-led approach, recognizing that those most impacted by health inequities have the best understanding of the needs, strengths, and strategies to improve the health of their community. Up to $400,000 is available to a Native American, or Urban Indian, community. ADDED ON FEBRUARY 23, 2024: The Washington State Department of COmmerce has issued a funding opportunity for projects to support the planning, design, and construction of clean energy projects that will improve health, resiliency, and economic outcomes for communities that face inequitable risk from energy burden, pollution, and other environmental factors. For this round of grant funding, applicants will be required to demonstrate that projects benefit overburdened communities and vulnerable populations by improving environmental health conditions, reducing energy inequities, or strengthening community resiliency. $67 million is being made available under this funding round. ADDED ON FEBRUARY 19, 2024: The Washington State Department of Commerce has opened a formula funding request for the State Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) Program on February 15. The CCA funding is available for local governments, Tribal governments, and Tribal supporting entities to provide rebates and incentives to households and small businesses for the installation of high-efficiency electric equipment and appliances to help achieve Washington’s emissions reduction goals for the building sector. ADDED ON FEBRUARY 16, 2024: The Washington State Department of Commerce has issued a funding opportunity to support green energy projects. $16 million is being made available under this opportunity. This opportunity is only available for Tribes and their contracted service providers. The application window is open through September 27 with on-going review. ADDED ON FEBRUARY 12, 2024: The Washington State Department of Commerce has issued a funding opportunity capital projects, to preserve behavioral health facilities through critical repairs or upgrades necessary to keep the facility in use.
