Silvia is a former colleague from my solidarity days opposing U.S. intervention in Central America during the mid-80s. Raised in Cologne, and living in Berlin, Silvia was a Reconciliation fellow (Fellowship for Reconciliation), a German organization placing volunteers in countries with whom it was at war in WW II. We worked together at CASA of Boston, the largest local solidarity organization in the United States. Silvia lives and works as an RN, a union organizer, and as an activist in Berlin, Germany. More
